I have no goddamn clue how to start this. As of writing this, I've only just gotten out of a hellish ten day long crunch period of video editing and lemme tell y'all, BOY AM I TIRED!
Okay, lemme back up a sec here. So back in #2, I talked about how I've tried to write some form of essay for two years at that point. Well, before I began proper on the LittleBigPlanet retrospective, I wanted to try and find something on the shorter side to write about as kind of a warm-up. At around the same time, I decided to replay a game called Vib-Ribbon, and after playing it I thought that I might have something to write about.
That was back in March.
Now, almost two months later, I have a 3,000 word tormentous nightmare, fresh and hot, just for you. It's available in both text and video format, compliments of the chef. It's probably bad, but that's not the point. All that matters is that I finally made something.
With that out of the way, here's a few choice updates: By the time you've read this, I've already started work on the LittleBigPlanet retrospective. I'm no longer planning on releasing a text and video version at the same time, because it absolutely sucked ass when I did it for this. Instead, I'll post the text version here (and only here) when it's 90% done, and I'll post the video version at a much later date, alongside a complete text version.
Also, I've decided to start an archival project. As part of the footage gathering process for the video version of the LittleBigPlanet retrospective, I'll be capturing and uploading as much footage as possible of the mainline LittleBigPlanet series' community levels, starting with levels built in the first LittleBigPlanet. Once I begin, you'll be able to find them over at my brand-new channel; LittleBigPlanet CoMmunity Level Footage Library. Feel free to contribute by suggesting levels to document. While I don't have an exact schedule in mind, I'd like to get at least one video up each week once I get going.

And that's about it. I wouldn't expect to hear anything from me for at least a month or two, since I'll be neck-deep in LittleBigPlanet for the foreseeable future. So until then, cheerio.
